About Paras Industries – Metals & Minerals in Kutch
Paras Industries takes up Plot No. 909 and 910 in the GIDC Estate, right across from the Telephone Exchange on Surabhit Road. Having two plots gives us a bit more room to breathe, which is helpful because there's usually a lot of stuff lying around. Between the raw steel, the finished parts, and the scraps, things can get a bit cluttered if we aren't careful. The Telephone Exchange is a good landmark because people sometimes get lost looking for specific numbers in the GIDC. Our days are filled with the usual workshop noises—clanging, humming, and the occasional shout when someone needs to be heard over the engines. Making things look polished for visitors isn't something we worry about; we’re more interested in making sure the work is solid. A small group of workers here knows the machines inside and out. Tea is taken together in the mornings and then it's straight into the tasks for the day. Surabhit Road is always busy with trucks and tempos, so there’s a lot of dust and movement outside our gates. Focusing on what’s inside the workshop is the priority. It’s been our way for a long time now. Big corporate goals aren't a thing here; the aim is just to keep the machines running and finish the work that’s been handed to us. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily load as it comes in from various places.
