Bombay Minerals Ltd.

Our site is out at Plot No. 260 in Baraya Village, which falls under Tehsil Mundra. Being so close to the Mundra area means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial and shipping activity. Bombay Minerals Ltd. focuses on raw materials, so our yard is usually filled with piles of different minerals waiting to be processed or shipped out. It is a very dusty and windy place to work. You can see the heavy machinery moving back and forth all day, shifting piles from one spot to another. We have a small building that serves as our main office, but most of the action happens outside. The village of Baraya is close by, and many of the people who work here live just a short distance away. It’s a tough environment because of the heat and the nature of the materials we handle. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations; we are more concerned with the weight of the loads and the quality of the minerals coming off the trucks. Dealing with logistics in this part of Kutch can be a challenge sometimes, especially with the weather, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the tricks. It’s just a regular day of grit and heavy lifting for us out here. We keep track of the shipments and make sure the piles don't get mixed up before they are loaded onto the outgoing trailers.
