Sri Kottamtulasireddy Memorial College

Our college is located upstairs in Gipson Colony, right there in Kurnool at H. No 40/447-8. It’s not one of those massive campuses you see in movies; it’s a more personal space where we focus on the students who come through our doors. Sri Kottamtulasireddy Memorial College was set up to give people in this part of Kurnool a place to study without having to travel too far from home. We have classrooms and a small office where we manage the daily schedule. It gets quite lively when the students arrive for their morning lectures. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly about the books and the teaching. The faculty members are just regular people who know their subjects and want to help the younger generation get their qualifications. You’ll often find us sitting around the office talking about the upcoming exams or how to fix something in one of the rooms. Life in Gipson Colony is pretty quiet for the most part, which makes it a good place for a school. We’ve had many groups of students pass their exams and move on to other things, which is always nice to hear about. We just keep things running day to day, making sure the lessons happen and the building is looked after properly. It’s a simple, practical institution that serves the local community here in Kurnool, and that’s plenty for us. We just do our best to keep the environment ready for learning.
