Pyramid School

Pyramid School is located right on the Ttd Line in Srinivasa Nagar. If you’re in Nandyal, you probably know the area. Our address is 25/640-B, and it’s been the same for quite a while now. The building has a flat roof where we sometimes go to dry out things after a big rain. Downstairs, the classrooms are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect. We have rows of desks that have been scratched by generations of students. There is always a stray chalk piece on the floor or a forgotten eraser under a bench. The morning starts with everyone gathering in the open area. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work. We have a few cupboards that are bulging with old records and new textbooks. The teachers here don't use a lot of technology; it's mostly just talking and writing on the board. We think that’s fine. It gets the job done. During the monsoon, the water can pool up near the front steps, so we have to put down bricks for the kids to step on. It’s these little things that make up our day. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone when it rings and show parents around the rooms if they drop by. It’s a simple setup for the families in Srinivasa Nagar. We just keep our heads down and focus on making sure the school day goes as planned.
