Saisree Degree College

Our college is sitting right there in Gandhi Nagar, Dhone. If you look for house number 9-19-3-2, that is where we are. It is a busy part of Andhra Pradesh and the street outside always has something going on. The students come here for their degree courses, usually arriving by bus or on their bikes from the nearby villages. We have a few floors with different classrooms and a small lab area for the science subjects. The stairs are narrow and people are always rushing up and down between periods. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building quite hard. We have a small area where students can park their cycles. Inside, the rooms are filled with the sound of fans and lecturers talking. We don't have a big campus with grass, just the building in the middle of the town. There is a small counter where they pay their fees and ask about exam dates. The library has a few rows of books that have been used by many students before. It feels like a typical local college where the focus is just on getting through the day's lessons. The staff is usually busy with paperwork or chatting in the small break room. It’s a practical place for people in Dhone who want to study without traveling too far from home.
