Rayalaseema University

Working over at Rayalaseema University in the B Camp area is quite an experience because it is always so full of life. The campus is basically known as B Camp to everyone around here, and it’s a major landmark in this part of Kurnool. It is not like a corporate office; it feels more like a small town within a town. There are always students walking around, talking about their classes or looking for a quiet spot to sit under the trees. The buildings are a bit older, and you can see the wear and tear on the stairs and the walls, but that just shows how much use they get. My desk is usually covered in folders and student records, and the fans overhead are always humming to keep the heat away. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot here, and everyone slows down a little bit. We spend a lot of time answering questions and helping people find their way around the different departments. It can be a bit chaotic during enrollment periods or when exams are coming up, but we just take it one day at a time. The local tea stalls outside the main gate are always packed with people, and the smell of fried snacks often drifts into the offices. It is a very grounded place to work, far removed from anything fancy or overly formal. Most of us have been here for years and we know the campus like the back of our hands.
