Ved Travel Holidays

We are right on Gompa Road in the Main Market area of Manali. It’s one of the most famous streets around here because of the monastery. There are always people walking by, some looking for souvenirs and others just enjoying the mountain air. Ved Travel Holidays is tucked into a spot where we can see all the action. The office is small and usually filled with the smell of incense from the shop next door. I’ve been working here in the 175131 area for a long time, and I’ve seen Gompa Road get busier and busier every year. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. It’s usually just me or one of my friends sitting behind the desk. We keep a stack of brochures and a messy notebook where we write down everything we need to do. Sentence lengths vary because sometimes we’re too busy to talk much and other times we have all the time in the world. The main market is the heart of the town, so there is never a dull moment. We deal with the usual problems like traffic jams and snow blocking the path, but we don't complain. It’s just part of living in the hills. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like a big company. We are just a local office on a busy road trying to do a good day’s work for the people who stop by.
