Valleycon Tours And Travels is located on The Mall in Manali. We are quite close to the HRTC Bus Stand, which makes it easy for people to find us right after they get off the bus. The Mall is the heart of the town, so it is always loud and full of life outside our door. We have a small office space that we have been using for a long time. It is not very big, but it has everything we need to run a travel business. Most of our work is just talking to travelers and helping them figure out where they want to go in the Kullu valley. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones and writing things down in ledgers. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of walk-in traffic from folks who are just arriving. The weather here changes fast, so we are always checking the latest updates to tell our drivers. It is a very hands-on job without any of the fancy corporate stuff you see in big cities. We are just a few people who live here and know the roads. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit, but that is just part of being in Manali.
