Himalayan Holidayers

Himalayan Holidayers is found in the Aleo Naggar area of New Manali. This part of the town has grown quite a lot over the last few years. We have stayed here and watched it change from a quiet spot with just a few houses into a place with many hotels and shops. Most of our time during the day is spent talking to people who are planning their visits. People come to Manali because they want to see the snow or the river, and we try to give them some honest advice about when to go so they can avoid the worst of the traffic jams. It is a small office and it often gets a bit messy with maps and notebooks lying around everywhere. We don't use any scripts or corporate language when we talk to our customers. It’s just us. We know the roads in this region very well because we live here and travel them ourselves. Some days are very long, especially during the holidays when the town is completely full of visitors. We just try to keep everything moving. It isn't always a perfect process. Sometimes a car might break down or a hotel might have a problem, and we have to fix it as we go. That is just how the travel business works in a mountain town. We like being in Aleo because it feels a little more relaxed than the very center of New Manali.
