Harisons Travels

If you have ever been to the Mall Road in Manali, you know how crowded it gets. Our office, Harisons Travels, is right there in the thick of it. It is a busy place because everyone eventually ends up on the Mall. We have been here for a long time, watching the shops change and the crowds get bigger every year. The office is small and usually has a few people sitting around talking about bus timings or car rentals. It gets loud outside with all the people and the traffic, but inside we just focus on what needs to be done for the day. We help with tickets and getting people moved from one part of Kullu to another. Sometimes a bus is late or a road is blocked, and we have to spend the whole day on the phone trying to fix things. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have fancy brochures with photoshopped pictures. We just tell people what the situation is with the weather and the roads. Most of the local shopkeepers know us, and we are just a part of the daily life on the Mall. Whether it is the middle of the winter snow or the heat of the summer, we are usually here in the office. It is a simple setup, and we prefer it that way. No need for anything more complicated when you are in the heart of town. (256 words)
