Hardev Tours & Trips

Our place is on the Old Manali Road, quite close to Hotel Gilbert. It’s a spot that sees a lot of cars and bikes going up towards the old village every day. Hardev Tours & Trips is just a small office where we handle bookings and keep track of our vehicles. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and a few drivers who have been around these hills for years. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to sit and talk about where you need to go. We deal with the usual stuff like trips to Rohtang or just local sightseeing around the valley. Some days are slow and we just sit outside watching the tourists walk past towards the temples. Other days, the phone won't stop ringing and everyone is in a hurry to get a car. We try to keep our vehicles in decent shape because these roads are tough on tires and engines. It gets dusty in the dry months and messy when it rains, but that’s just how it is here in the mountains. People find us because of the hotel nearby, and we usually have someone around from morning until the sun goes down. We don't use any fancy booking systems, just a notebook and a pen mostly. It works for us and the people who travel with us. We just take it one trip at a time. (252 words)
