Dogra Travel Services

Our office is situated on Naggar Road in the Aleo part of Manali. It’s a bit away from the main chaos of the Mall Road, which we actually prefer. Naggar Road has its own pace, a bit slower but still quite active with people moving towards the old heritage spots. Dogra Travel Services is a small family-run thing. We’ve been here in 175131 for quite some time now. The building is a simple structure and we’ve decorated the inside with just a few photos of the local valleys. I usually walk to work since I live nearby, and I see the same faces every morning. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have a phone that rings a lot and a door that stays open most of the day. Sometimes the power goes out in Aleo, and we have to finish our work by candlelight or just wait for it to come back. It’s not a polished operation, but it’s real. We talk to our customers like they’re neighbors. We know which roads are blocked by landslides and which ones are clear because we hear it from the drivers every day. It’s a hands-on job. We don't spend money on big ads. Most of the people who come to us heard about us from someone else in town. That’s enough for us to keep going and stay busy throughout the year.
