Dharamshala Tourism Services

This is a bit of a funny setup because while our name is Dharamshala Tourism Services, our address is listed at Plot No-107 in Sri Venkateswara Enclave. We are actually on the first floor near Suchitra Cross Roads in Hyderabad, even though the record mentions Manali 175131. It can be a bit confusing for people at first. The office is in a busy part of the city, and the traffic at the cross roads is always something else. You can hear the horns honking from the window all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or at our computers. It’s a typical office vibe, with files piled up and a coffee machine that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. My colleague handles the front desk and I usually stay in the back room dealing with the paperwork. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so we’ve seen the shops around us change owners many times. It gets really hot in Hyderabad during the summer months, which is quite different from the hills. We keep the fans going full blast just to stay comfortable. People come up the stairs looking for travel help and we do what we can. It’s a straightforward operation. No one here wears a suit or talks in corporate lingo. We just talk like regular people and try to help folks plan their trips. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening.
