Wendt (I) Ltd. is located out at Plant No. 69/70 in the Sipcot industrial area. It’s quite a way out from the main city, so most of us have a bit of a commute every morning. The Sipcot complex is huge, and it feels like a city of its own with all the different factories and plants lined up. Our facility is a busy place where we handle manufacturing and industrial processes. It’s a large space with high ceilings and a lot of different sections for various stages of production. You’ll hear the hum of the ventilation system and the clank of metal throughout the day. We have a cafeteria where everyone gathers for lunch, which is usually the only time it gets quiet on the floor. Working in a plant like this means following a strict schedule, but it still feels like a community because we’ve all been working together for so long. The weather out here can get really intense, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roofing. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; the work we do for our clients speaks for itself. It’s a lot of hard work and making sure the machines are maintained properly so we don't have any downtime. We just show up, do our shifts, and make sure everything is running smoothly before we head home for the evening.
