Mahem Engineering Pvt. Limited is situated at N-40 in Phase Iv of the Sidco Industrial Estate. It’s a good spot for an engineering firm because everything we need is pretty much right here. The estate is full of other workshops and factories, so there’s a lot of noise and movement all day long. We’ve been in this unit for a long time. The walls have seen a lot of projects come and go. It’s not the cleanest environment, what with the metalwork and the oil, but it’s a real workshop. We have a small crew of guys who really know their way around the equipment. We don’t go in for big titles or fancy corporate structures. If something needs fixing, whoever is closest grabs a wrench and gets to it. That’s just how we operate. The Sidco area can get pretty dusty, especially in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We focus on getting the engineering specs right and making sure the parts we make are solid. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the work is hands-on. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job, likely covered in a bit of grease. It’s honest work and we’re proud of what we manage to produce out of this small corner of the industrial estate. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to build things that actually work and last.
