Amrita Sai Institute Of Science & Technology

This place is out on Gani Atukuru Road, specifically at the address 41-6-87 in Bathinapadu Paritala. Amrita Sai Institute Of Science & Technology sounds like a lot, but for us, it’s just the place where we spend our days working with students. It’s a bit of a way out from the main city centers, so it’s quieter here than some other places. We have a few buildings for the different departments. They are functional. We don't have marble floors or anything like that. It’s mostly concrete and practical furniture that can stand up to a lot of use. The students are here to learn about science and tech, so there’s always someone carrying a laptop or some drawings. We have a small canteen where everyone goes to get tea or a quick bite between the long lectures. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy in the summer heat, but we just talk over them. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We don’t spend much time on fancy ceremonies. We mostly just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the labs are somewhat organized. It’s a decent place to work and study if you don’t mind being a bit further out from everything. We have some open space around the buildings which is nice when you need a bit of air after sitting in a classroom.
