This place in Vijayawada is always a bit busy and, to be honest, it can get quite loud with all the animals around. We are located out here in Andhra Pradesh, and the heat during the summer months is really something else. The students are usually seen running around in their white coats, often looking a bit tired from the long hours. We have different sections for the cows, dogs, and other animals that people bring in for checkups. It’s not a fancy office environment; it’s a working college where things can get a bit messy. The floors are often being mopped, and there is always that specific smell of medicines and animals in the air. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for tea and snacks, and that’s where most of the gossip and talk about exams happens. The labs have all sorts of equipment that looks a bit old but still works fine for the practicals. Sometimes the water supply is a bit patchy, or the fans in the lecture halls make a clicking sound that drives you crazy, but we just ignore it and carry on. The professors are usually busy with their research or helping a student with a difficult case. It’s a practical sort of place where people are more worried about the health of a buffalo than how the front gate looks. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
