Tm Steels & Cements

At Tm Steels & Cements, we are based at 26, Aravind Ghosh Road in the Vellayil area. Our location is pretty easy to find if you’re familiar with the neighborhood. It’s a functional space where we keep all the heavy supplies. There isn't much to look at in terms of decor. We have stacks of cement and various steel products taking up most of the room. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and some old fans that hum all day. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving things around or checking the quality of what comes in. It's a gritty kind of job, and we don't try to hide that. The air around here often smells like the sea because Vellayil is close to the coast, which is nice when there's a breeze. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or fancy brochures. People around here know us for being at this address and just doing our work. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or locals who need a few things for their home repairs. We just try to stay on top of the orders and make sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It’s a simple, hardworking life, and we’ve been at it for long enough that it’s just second nature to us now, even with all the noise and the dust.
