SMALL STONE M-SAND LLP is located at 5/565 A in the Keeranthodika area. We are over here in Venappara, out in Kozhikode. It’s a bit of a trek to get here, but we like the space. Dealing with M-sand means everything is always a bit dusty, no matter how much we clean. We aren’t a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small crew of us making sure the sand gets loaded correctly. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. We started this because we saw everyone was building and needed good sand. It’s been a learning process, for sure. We’ve had some long days and some short ones. In Kerala, the rain really dictates how much work we can do in a week. We just roll with it. No one here is trying to be a corporate executive. We’re just local people working a local job. We keep our records in some old ledgers and try to stay organized. It’s not always perfect, but we get the job done. If you come to Venappara, just look for the piles of sand and the old gate. That’s us. We’ve been here a while and we know the neighborhood well. We often share a laugh over lunch in the small shed we use as a breakroom. It keeps the mood light even when the work is hard.
