Newlite Marbles

Newlite Marbles is located in Narikuni. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. Our yard is filled with different kinds of marble and stone that we bring in. Narikuni is a quiet enough place, which is good for us because moving these heavy slabs needs a bit of space and focus. People from around the area come to us when they are building a house or just fixing up a room. We don't really have a fancy sales pitch. We just show them what we have in the stacks. Sometimes the inventory changes quickly, and other times we have the same pieces for a while. It’s a physical job. We’re often out in the yard in all kinds of weather, checking the quality of the stone or helping load it onto a truck. The office is just a small room where we keep the books and take calls. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who heard about us from their builders. It’s a simple business model. We buy the stone, we keep it here in Narikuni, and we sell it to whoever needs it. There’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting involved, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just try to be honest about what we have and get the job done without any extra drama.
