Asian Tiles And Marbles

Moving tiles is hard on the back. We are located in the Simla Building on Kandamkulam Cross Road. We have a lot of heavy slabs of stone leaning against the walls. Some are marble and some are granite. It is a bit of a maze inside because of how much stock we keep. We get a lot of dust on our clothes from the moving and the crates. People come in looking for something specific for their kitchen or a new bathroom. We show them the different colors we have in stock. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we often take a piece outside to the daylight so they can see the real color. It is a busy road outside. Trucks come and go to drop off new crates from the factories. We have to be careful when we move things so nothing cracks. It is a loud place sometimes with the wooden crates being hammered open. We do not wear suits here. We wear boots because the floor can be slippery or rough with grit. There is a small office in the corner where we keep the bills and the phone. We sit there when it is quiet and have some tea. Most of our customers are builders or guys doing up their own houses. We have been here at 18/809K for a long time. People know the building. It is a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it.
