Ponnamvathi Granites & Marbles is located over by Madappally College in Vadakara. Our address is Post-Edapally. It’s a busy area, and we’ve been part of it for quite a long time. We deal in both granite and marble. The yard is usually quite full, with slabs leaning against every available wall. We spend a lot of our time moving things around to make room for new deliveries. It’s heavy, sweaty work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any fancy displays or a big marketing team. It’s just us and the stone. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, maybe covered in some grit. We like to let people take their time looking through the stacks. Every piece of stone is a bit different, and it takes time to find the right one for a house. The weather here can be quite rainy, so we have to be careful with how we store everything. My nephew helps out when he can, and we have a couple of regulars who do the heavy lifting for us. We don't do anything corporate or polished. It’s a simple, local business where we know most of the people who walk through the gate. We just try to provide what people need for their floors and counters. It’s a steady job and we’ve been at it for a while now. We appreciate the people who stop by our yard.
