We are up on the first floor of the Kannankandy Building right on Jail Road here in Puthiyara. It’s a busy part of Kozhikode, and you can always hear the traffic moving outside when the windows are open. Our space isn't huge, but it fits the team just fine. Most days start with someone grabbing tea from the shop down the street before we settle into the digital work we do under the Pixelbird name. Being in this part of town is handy because everything is close by, even if parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing with pixels and code without making too much of a fuss. The building itself is easy to spot once you get to the Puthiyara area. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and we're right there. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. It’s just a regular office where we spend most of our hours trying to get things right for the people who hire us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is here. We like the neighborhood though. There’s a lot of life on Jail Road, and being centrally located in Kozhikode makes the commute manageable for most of us coming from different sides of the city.
