Sreyas M

I work from my house, which is called Krishnasree, over in Mayanad. It is at 31/916 and it is near the Medical College area. Mayanad is a bit quieter than the main city, which I find helpful for the kind of work I do. My name is Sreyas M, and I handle things on my own for the most part. I don't have a big corporate office or a lot of staff in uniforms. It is just a practical workspace where I can sit down and focus on building plans and technical details. I spend a lot of time looking at the small things that make a house stay strong or keep the water out during the heavy rains we get here in Kozhikode. People come to me when they want to talk to the person actually doing the work, not a salesperson. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know the local ground and what materials work best here. My office is full of old books and rolls of paper, and maybe a few empty tea cups. I don't see the point in being overly formal. If a neighbor or a client drops by, we just sit and talk about what needs to be done. I try to find the most straightforward way to solve a problem. There is no need to make things more complicated than they already are.
