Creative Steel

Creative Steel is based over in Puthiyappa, which is under the Puthiyangadi Post area. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the middle of the city, which we like. We have our workspace set up here and it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. The air often has that coastal feel to it since we aren't far from the water. Working with steel in this climate means we have to be careful about how we store things so they stay in good shape. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a place where work happens. We handle a lot of different steel jobs for the people living around Puthiyappa. Sometimes the work is slow and we just sit and talk with the neighbors, and other times we are working late into the night to finish something up. It’s just a few of us here doing the physical work every day. We don't have any corporate offices or big meetings, just the sound of the metal and the tools. People find us through word of mouth mostly, or just by passing through Puthiyangadi. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We try to keep things organized but a steel shop always ends up a bit messy with scraps and dust. That is just how it goes for us. We just stay here and work.
