We are over in Thazhe Omassery, at house number 7/948. It’s a bit away from the main Kozhikode city center, but we like it that way. Armbyte is basically just a few of us working on various tech tasks. We don't have a massive sign outside or a lobby with a receptionist. It’s more of a workshop feel. We deal with data and bits and pieces of code every day. The neighborhood is mostly houses and small shops, so it’s peaceful. Sometimes it feels like we are in our own little world here. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay in our hometown. Kozhikode has a lot of talent, so we figured why not set up here in Omassery. We aren't looking to conquer the world or anything. We just want to provide for our families and do work that we are okay with. Most days involve a lot of troubleshooting. It can be frustrating when things don't load or a server goes down, but that's part of the job. We share lunches and talk about things other than work sometimes. It’s a very local vibe. We don't use much corporate talk because it doesn't fit who we are. We are just regular people who happen to know a lot about computers and bytes. If you walk past, you might not even know we are a company, and we are fine with that.
