You can find our office care of Sebastian K Mathew at building 11/8 in Kulathumkal, over in the Koovappally area. It’s a local operation, started by people who actually live and work in Poonjar. We aren't some big firm from the city. Most of the folks involved are farmers themselves or have family who are. We use this space to keep track of the harvests and coordinate where everything is going. It’s a lot of logistics, but we keep it simple. The desk is usually piled high with notes and calendars because there’s always something happening in the fields. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us anyway. Koovappally is a quiet place, which is good for focusing on the work. We talk to the growers, check the quality of the seeds, and handle the sales part of things. It’s about making sure the people in Poonjar have a collective voice when it comes to their products. Sometimes the days are long, but that’s just how it goes in agriculture. We don't have a big staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or helping with a delivery. It’s just a group of people trying to do something useful for their own community. We’ve been doing this for a while now.
