Keerikara Plantations Private Limited

Our office is in Building Xiii/204-C over in Kudayathoor. It is a small place, nothing too grand. We spend most of our time thinking about the plantations. The air around here is fresh, which is a nice change if you are coming from the city. We have a small team of people who have lived in this area for a long time. The work involves a lot of checking on trees and making sure the soil is okay. It is not the kind of job where you sit behind a computer all day. We are often out in the fields, even when it is raining hard. Kerala weather can be unpredictable, but the plants need tending regardless. We don’t really have a fancy philosophy. We just want to make sure the plantation is running like it should. The building is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. It's just a simple structure where we keep our tools and paperwork. We know the neighbors and they know us. Sometimes we sit on the porch and talk about the local news. It’s a quiet life but it keeps us busy. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It is just farming on a slightly larger scale. We try to be practical about things and solve problems as they come up. That is pretty much how we spend our weeks around here.
