Kuravilangadu Mythri Farmer Producer Company Limited

So, we are over here at the Sks building in Pakalomottom. It’s right under the Kuravilangadu Panchayat area. Most of us here are just local folks who know each other from around the village. We started Kuravilangadu Mythri Farmer Producer Company Limited because honestly, things weren't getting easier for anyone farming alone. Every morning, someone is usually at the No. 277/Xii address early, probably sweeping the front or getting the registry books ready. It's not a fancy place, just a regular office with some chairs that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds, the rain coming in too late or too early, and how to get a decent price for what we grow. People drop by after their work in the fields, sometimes with mud still on their boots, just to see what the news is. We don't have big meetings with slides; it's mostly sitting around and figuring out how to move the next load of produce. Some days the fans don't work right and it gets stuffy, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep track of everything on paper and sometimes the computer works well enough. It’s a lot of work coordinating between all the different families in Pakalomottom, but since we are all in the same boat, we just keep at it day after day. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the paperwork and the weather at the same time.
