Oluns College

Oluns College is based in Erattupetta, and it’s been a part of this community for a good number of years. We aren't a big, sprawling university campus, just a straightforward college building where local students come for their higher studies. Most of the people who study here live nearby, so there’s a real local feel to the place. We have classrooms, a small office for administration, and a bit of space for students to gather during their free time. The weather in Erattupetta can be quite rainy, so we spend a lot of time making sure the roof doesn't leak and the floors stay dry. Our teachers are mostly from the surrounding areas and they really understand the needs of the students here. We don't have any high-end facilities or fancy cafes, just the basics that are needed for learning. The library has the books required for the syllabus, and we have a few computers for the students to use. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except during the lunch hour when everyone is out and about. We handle all the admissions and paperwork from a small desk in the main hall. It’s an honest, no-frills kind of place. We don’t go in for big advertisements; we just provide a place for young people to get their degrees without having to move to a big city. It’s a simple operation, and we like it that way. We try to keep the surroundings clean and the atmosphere calm for studying.
