C.M.S. College

C.M.S. College is a very well-known spot in Kottayam, mainly because we are right at the College Junction. It’s an old place with a lot of history, but when you are here every day, you just see it as a place of work and study. The stone walls and the old trees give it a certain feel, especially when the Kerala rains start and everything turns very green. We are on C.M.S. College Road, which is a busy street, but once you get inside the gates, it feels a bit more removed from the city rush. We don't talk about ourselves like a big institution even though the college has been around for ages. We are just a group of teachers and staff trying to help the students get through their courses. The classrooms have high ceilings and old wooden furniture that has seen a lot of use over the decades. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit backed up in the office, and we have to spend the whole weekend catching up. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a college where things can be a bit chaotic during exam time or when a new term starts. We don't use a lot of slogans. We just open the doors, conduct the lectures, and help the students as much as we can before they head home.
