Malayoraunarvu Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at 3/478, Puthuvelil, which is over in the Ayyanpan Coil P O area. We are a producer company for the local farmers here in the hills. The name itself means something about the awakening of the hills, and that is pretty much what we are about. We spend our days working with the people who grow things on the slopes around here. It’s a beautiful place, though the roads can be a bit rough after a heavy rain. Our office is just a simple building where we gather to talk about the season and what we need to do next. We don't have a big staff. It is just a few of us who grew up around here. We know the land and we know the people. We aren't interested in sounding like a big company from the city. We just want to make sure the farmers in Ayyanpan Coil have a place to come to when they need help with their produce. Usually, someone brings in some snacks and we sit around the big table in the back. There’s always a lot of talk about the rain and the soil. It’s a slow process sometimes, getting everything organized, but we stay at it. We just take things one day at a time. If you’re passing through the Puthuvelil area, you can’t miss us. It’s just a quiet spot for hardworking people who care about the hills.
