We are based at 192/Aalayullaparambath in the Kodiyura area of Vanimel. Kadaman Kalari Plantations is really just about the land we have up here. It is a quiet place, far away from the busy parts of the city. Most of our day is spent walking through the trees and checking on the progress of what we have planted. We have been in Kodiyura for quite some time, and we know the patterns of the weather and how it affects the plantation. It is just a few of us working here. We don't have any big brochures or a sales team. We just produce what we can and sell it through the usual local channels. Sometimes the harvest is good, and sometimes it is disappointing, but that is the nature of the work. We just keep our heads down and focus on the land.
