About Sukh Suvidha Tent Center – Event & Planning in Kota
Down in Kasim Gali near the Kota Junction, we keep our storage for the tent supplies. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in this lane, especially when we are trying to bring the big vehicles in to load up the metal frames. Most of our work happens outside, but this is where everything stays when it isn't being used. We have rows of chairs that need dusting and stacks of tables that sometimes wobble if the ground isn't flat. Being so close to the station means there is always people moving around and the sound of trains in the background. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just a space filled with the smell of old canvas and the clanking of iron pipes. When a call comes in, we have to check the inventory quickly to see what is available. Sometimes we are short on a specific color of curtain, so we have to make do with what we have on the racks. It is a lot of physical labor, lifting and carrying things back and forth. My hands are usually rough from handling the ropes and the heavy fabric. We don't talk much about things like professional setup, we just show up and put the stuff where it needs to go. Then we wait until the event is over to pack it all back into the dark corners of the shop in Kasim Gali. It is basic work but it keeps us busy.
