Shree Nagar Tent House

Shree Nagar Tent House is based in Kherli Phatak. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the back like heavy metal poles, bundles of colorful cloth, and those plastic chairs that stack really high. Most of the work happens outside when we load the trucks. Kherli Phatak can get quite congested, so moving the big tent pieces around takes some patience. The fabric needs a lot of washing and folding after a big event, especially when it gets dusty. We have been in this area for a good bit of time. The office part is just a small room with a desk and some old photos of setups we did years ago. It’s heavy work, lifting the bamboo and the iron frames. Sometimes the guys are out all night putting things up before the sun gets too hot. We don't have a big display, just the storage and the workspace here at the address. The floor is mostly dirt and stone where we park the vehicles. It gets loud when we are moving the metal pipes around because they clang together. People stop by to talk about dates and how many chairs they might need for a gathering. It’s a practical business. We keep the ropes coiled up and the tarps folded as best as we can. Being at Kherli Phatak keeps us close to the main roads which is good for the transport. I spend my evenings checking the inventory and making sure nothing is torn before we go home.
