Shere Punjab

If you find yourself at the Shopping Centre in Choupati Bazar, you will see us at Shere Punjab. It is a lively area, and we have been a part of it for a while now. The kitchen is always going, and there is usually a lot of steam and noise coming from the back. We don't have fancy menus or anything like that, just the usual stuff written down for people to see. Some days it is so packed that people have to wait a bit for a spot, but that is just how it goes in a busy bazaar. We try to keep the tables clean, though it gets hard when there are so many people coming and going throughout the day. The staff here are mostly guys from around the neighborhood. We know what people like to eat when they are out shopping or taking a break from work. Sometimes we run out of things early, especially on the weekends when the market is really crowded with families. It is not a quiet place, so if you are looking for that, you might be disappointed. We have the radio playing sometimes, but usually the sound of the street is enough. Our sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows where we are. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the stove stays hot. It is hard work, but we are used to the rhythm of Choupati Bazar by now.
