Shahna Crockry Store

Shahna Crockry Store is tucked away in the Patanpole area. It’s an old part of town with narrow streets and lots of history in every corner. We’ve got stacks of plates, bowls, and glasses piled high on the shelves. You have to be careful walking through the aisles because the space is quite tight. We carry the kind of stuff people use every day in their kitchens, like sturdy tea cups and big serving platters for family dinners. It’s a bit of a maze in here. Sometimes even I forget where we put a specific set of spoons or a particular glass bowl. We get a lot of people coming in before weddings to buy gifts or sets for their new homes. The lighting isn't the best inside, so we often take things out to the doorway so customers can see the colors in the sunlight. We don't have a computer system to track everything. We just know what’s in stock by looking at the shelves every morning. It’s been this way for a long time now. It gets dusty, and we spend a lot of time with a cloth cleaning the glass pieces. We don't do fancy deliveries or have a big catalog to show. People just come in, look around, and pick what they like. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and it suits the neighborhood of Patanpole just fine. We like it this way.
