Gupta Tent & Bartan House

Gupta Tent & Bartan House is located in the Rangbari area of Kota. We deal with two things mostly, the tents for events and all the large pots and plates people need for big meals. The back of the shop is full of stainless steel bartans, stacked up high so they don't take up too much floor space. We have those massive cooking pots that take two people to carry. Then there is the tent side of things, with all the cloth and the iron frames. It is a lot of stuff to keep track of. We spend a lot of time washing the plates and spoons after they come back from a rental. The shop itself is a bit of a maze because of how much we try to fit inside. The ceiling is high, which helps, but it still feels crowded. We have a small area near the front where we sit and talk to people who come in to ask about prices or dates. It gets quite loud when we are moving the metal plates around because they clatter together. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years. We don't have a fancy storefront, just a wide gate so the trucks can pull in close to load up. It is just a practical business, keeping things clean and ready for whenever someone has a function nearby. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish counting all the spoons and forks.
