Jain Tent & Bartan House

We are located at 903 Jawahar Road in Mahaveer Nagar 2nd. Our business, Jain Tent & Bartan House, is all about helping people with their celebrations and events. We provide the tents, but we also have a large collection of big cooking pots, plates, and spoons for rent. That is what "Bartan" means—utensils. Usually, when someone is having a big dinner for a wedding or a religious function, they come to us to borrow everything. We spend a lot of time washing and counting spoons and plates to make sure everything is ready for the next person. The warehouse area is packed with stacks of metal plates and huge crates of glasses. Loading the truck takes a lot of effort and we have to be careful not to dent the pots. My brother handles the tent side of things, going out with the guys to set up the poles and fabrics. I stay back at the shop on Jawahar Road to handle the bookings and the utensil returns. Sometimes people return things late or a few forks go missing, which is just part of the job. It is a noisy business with all the metal clanging around, but we are used to it. We have been in Mahaveer Nagar for a long time and have seen many families grow up. We do not use any fancy marketing, just our sign out front and the work we do every day for the community.
