Ram Lakhan Pan Palace

Running Ram Lakhan Pan Palace on Rangbari Main Road 60 is a full-time job for us. We are located right on that main stretch in Rawatbhata. It is usually a pretty loud place because of all the bikes and cars passing by at all hours. My family has lived around this area for a long time, so we know the streets well. The shop itself is just a regular place where people stop when they are out doing their errands. We focus on making pan for the folks who live nearby or the workers passing through. It gets a little dusty sometimes because we are so close to the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass and the counters. There is almost always someone coming in, especially in the evenings when people are heading home from work. We do not have fancy chairs or a big lounge area. People just stand around, get their pan, and move on. That is just how things work here. When the weather gets really hot, the shade of the shop is the only thing that keeps us going. We know most of our customers by their first names since they come by almost every day. It is not a complicated business, just keeping the stock ready and the leaves fresh. We have seen the city grow around Main Road 60, but we just keep doing our thing every day.
