About Raja Traders – Construction Equipment & Machinery in Kota
Being at Raja Traders at shop number 31 in the Super Market area is mostly about seeing the same faces every day. We are right over by Mohan Takies in Keshavpura, so on the weekends, the crowd really picks up when people come for the movies. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic and the street food stalls, but inside it’s just us surrounded by boxes. We handle a lot of different things, mostly whatever the local shops around here need to keep their shelves full. I usually start the day around nine, opening up the shutters and checking what arrived on the truck the night before. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, but we just deal with it. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that, just a regular trading spot with some old wooden desks and piles of invoices that I need to sort through. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, to be honest, but we never seem to find the time to stop and do it. My nephew helps out sometimes when he isn’t at school. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the other shopkeepers while we wait for the afternoon rush. It is a simple life here in the market. We don’t have any big slogans or anything, we just try to have what people are looking for when they walk through the door and get things moved along.
