National Hardware Store

National Hardware Store is at Plot No. 144-A in Balaji Market. We are located near the Rangbari Petrol Pump. If you’re looking for us, just look for the petrol pump and we are right around there. Hardware is one of those businesses where you never have enough space. We have shelves packed with all kinds of tools, screws, plumbing supplies, and paints. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and it can be a little dusty because of the types of items we carry. Balaji Market is a noisy, busy place, but we like the energy of it. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of our customers are local builders or people trying to fix something in their own homes. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical shop where you can find what you need. Sometimes we don't have exactly what someone wants, so we have to see if we can get it from another supplier. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People just know we are here. It’s me and a couple of helpers who know where every single nut and bolt is hidden. We open up the shutters early in the morning and close up late. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but it’s good work. We keep the tea kettle going in the back for when it's slow.
