Mata Di Food is a small place we run out of Mahaveer Nagar 3, specifically at 10/C/14. This neighborhood is full of students who come to Kota for their coaching classes, so things stay pretty busy around here. We started this because we saw so many kids living away from home who just wanted something simple to eat that wasn't from a big expensive restaurant. Our kitchen is small and we do most of the work ourselves. It’s not a place with fancy menus or waiters in uniforms. We just cook what we know and serve it to the people who stop by or ask us to send food to their rooms nearby. The street outside is usually lined with cycles and students talking about their exams. We spend our mornings cutting vegetables and getting the dough ready for the day. It feels more like a home kitchen than a business most of the time. We don't use any complicated machines, just basic stoves and pots. Sometimes we run out of things if a big group comes in at once, but that’s just how it goes in a small setup. People in Mahaveer Nagar know the address 10/C/14 if they want a meal that feels like it was made by someone who cares. We just keep our heads down and keep the stove going through the lunch and dinner rush.
