Mastaan Pan Corner

If you are ever at Chhawani Chouraha or near Gandhi Chauraha in Sangod, you might have seen Mastaan Pan Corner. We are right there at the intersection. It is a very busy spot with people coming from all directions. I started this shop because it seemed like a good place where people always gather. There is a lot of noise from the horns and the people talking, but I like the energy of the crossroads. Most people who stop by are in a hurry. They are on their way to work or heading back to their villages. I keep things organized so I can help them quickly. The shop is small, so there is not much room for anything other than the essentials. My brother helps me out in the afternoons when the sun is at its hottest. We have been here for a few years now and have seen the area change quite a bit. There are more shops now than when we first started. Even with the competition, we just stick to what we know. It is not about being the biggest shop, just about being there when someone wants a pan. Sangod is a nice place, and being at the Chouraha means we see everything that happens in town. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next customer to walk up. It is honest work for us.
