Mangalam Tent House

Mangalam Tent House is over in Kota at R K Puram, specifically at E-212. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. We use our space here to keep all the supplies we need for setting up events. There are stacks of chairs, folded carpets, and those big metal frames for the tents. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting things and making sure nothing gets broken during transport. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms or anything like that. We are just a local crew. Most days we are wearing old clothes because you get dirty pretty fast when you’re moving tents around. The address E-212 is basically our home base. We go out from here in the morning and sometimes we don't get back until very late at night if there’s a lot to do. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of counting chairs or checking the fabric for holes. We try to be honest about what we can do and when we can do it. It’s a simple way of working. We’ve been in R K Puram for a while now, and we just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, without much fuss. It is hard labor, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
