Kitchen Affairs

Kitchen Affairs is situated at Shop No.9 in the Purushwani Complex. We are right opposite the Multi Purpose School in Gumanpura. It is quite a lively spot to be in because of the school. Every morning and afternoon, the street gets filled with students and parents, and you can hear the school bells ringing throughout the day. Our shop is not very large, but we manage to fit in what we need to show people. Gumanpura is a busy part of the city, and being in the Purushwani Complex means we have neighbors on both sides. We spend our days talking to people about their kitchens and showing them what might work in their homes. It is not a high-end studio with soft lighting. We just have the regular shop lights and the fans going to stay cool. The floor is just tile and we keep a desk in the corner for the bills. Sometimes we have samples of cabinets or handles lying around that we need to tidy up. It feels like a real local shop because it is one. We don't have a big marketing department. It is just us here, opening the shutters in the morning and closing them when the school kids have all gone home. Being opposite the school means we are easy to find, which helps. We just keep things simple and focus on the work right in front of us. It gets a bit loud at three o'clock, but we are used to it by now.
