Khedarasoolpur Agro Producer Company Limited is located over in Kota, specifically at Kishan Gopal’s house. He is the son of Ram Narayan and he’s been around these parts a long time. We started this agro company because we saw a lot of farmers in the Kota area struggling to get things sorted on their own. It’s a collective effort, really. We don’t have a skyscraper or a big marketing team. It’s just us sitting together and figuring out how to get the produce from the fields to the right places without too much trouble. Rajasthan has its own way of doing things, and here in Kota, we focus on what we know best. The address is quite easy to find if you’re local. We deal with the daily chores of running a producer company, which involves a lot of talking to neighbors and planning for the next sowing season. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to be useful for the people living nearby. Working with Kishan Gopal and the others makes it feel more like a community project than a business. We keep our doors open for any of the local growers who need to stop by and discuss the latest crop yields or what seeds are working best in this soil lately.
