Dudani Products

Our place, Dudani Products, is set up at Narendra Kothi Gulab Bari. We are right on the Ladpura Main Mk in Chhipa Barod, which is in the Baran district. This building has a lot of history behind it and has been in the family for a long time. We handle a variety of different products here, mostly items that fit what the local people are looking for. The dust from the main road always seems to settle on everything, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shelves. It is a family-run business through and through. My cousins and I take turns managing the stock and talking to the suppliers. We don't have one of those fancy corporate offices with air conditioning. We often just sit out on the porch when it’s not too hot and talk to the people walking by. Business is usually quite steady, though it definitely picks up during the harvest seasons when everyone is busy. The way we run things is very simple. If someone needs a specific item, they come in and ask us for it. We go to the back room and see if we have it in stock. If we don't, we try to get it for them in a few days. We don't like to make big promises that we can't keep. That is just how we were raised to work. The summers here are very hot, so we often close for a few hours in the afternoon.
