About Millellium Public School – Education in Koppal
Millellium Public School is located right on NH 63 in Gadagal, which is part of the Koppal district. Since we are on the highway, we get a lot of trucks passing by, and the sound is just something we have all gotten used to over time. The building is a plain structure that stands out against the dry landscape of this region. Koppal can get incredibly hot, so the afternoons in the classrooms can be a bit tough when the fans are not enough. Most of the students come from the villages nearby, often traveling a good distance to get here. We have a small staff of people who have been here since the start, and we all know each other pretty well. There is not a lot of extra money for fancy things, so we make do with what we have, like old maps on the walls and a few sports balls that have seen a lot of use. The playground is wide but mostly dry ground, where the kids play kabaddi or cricket whenever they get the chance. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the books and making sure the kids understand what they are reading. It is a simple life out here on the highway, and we just take each day as it comes, dealing with the heat and the noise while we teach.
