M B Hiremath Public School is located out on Tavargerea Road in Kustagi. It’s in the Koppal district, and the pincode is 583278. We’ve got a fairly large building out here. It’s a bit of a walk from the middle of town, but many families prefer it being a little away from the main noise. The school has been around for some time, and we’ve seen quite a few batches of students come and go. It’s a plain-looking place, mostly white and grey walls. We have a playground that the kids love, even if it’s mostly just dirt and some grass. During the summer, it gets quite dry and dusty around here. We have a routine that we stick to. The bells ring, the kids line up, and the classes start. We don’t have anything like a swimming pool or a giant auditorium. It’s just a regular public school for regular families. The staff are mostly locals from Kustagi or nearby villages. We know most of the parents by name because we see them at the gates every afternoon. It’s a practical place for learning. We try to keep the classrooms clean, though with so many kids, there’s always a bit of a mess to tidy up at the end of the day. It’s just a normal school day for us, year after year.
